Are you ready to Return to Acute Nursing?

If you've been out of acute practice for a while, but now you feel ready to return, WWL is the place for you. Perhaps you've been in a community setting, or taken a career break. We can offer a bespoke package to support Registered Nurses, who need to refresh knowledge and skills, to help you transition back into Acute Practice.

Our Return to Acute Nursing Programme is ideal for those who want to 'dip their toe back into the water' and try out the Acute setting on an honorary contract basis, for a minimum of one day per week for 8 weeks. During this time you will be able to experience the acute setting, helping you to adjust to the change in pace and environment.

Following the 8 week programme, if you feel you're ready to take up a post with us, and you've met the requirements of the programme, throughout, you will be appointed directly into one of our available vacancies.

Please note the Return to Acute Nursing programme is only open to Registered Nurses with a valid NMC PIN. If you are not currently registered, the Return to Practice Programme is also available by contacting your local University.

Interviews for the Return to Acute Nursing Programme will take place on 1st October 2019.
