We’re looking for 2 ambitious individuals, who will be part of the integrated care team taking the next steps in developing great community services and ensuring that everything we do is based around our aim of quality first and foremost.
The successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and can bring relevant experience and knowledge to the post. You will be expected to function as an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team, assisting in the identification of health needs and participate in the delivery and evaluation of care interventions.
This role involves providing a high standard nursing care to patients across the Wigan borough and will require you to work across all areas in the Trust which includes those that are designated as positive, asymptomatic and negative COVID wards.
The successful candidates will be assessing planning, and delivering and evaluating the nursing care provided within the Community React team. This involves working within patients homes providing holistic care i.e. intravenous antibiotics wound dressings venepuncture.
This vacancy is Band 5 for two full time (37.5 hours per week) staff nurses on a permanent basis. Shifts will be over a 7 days week and will be between service hours of 0800-2200.
Please Note: Candidates will be asked to provide original qualification certificates to interview. An Enhanced DBS with Adults Barred List will be required for this post and will be obtained during pre-employment checks.
Based in the Community division so you will need to be able to travel to Ashton, Wigan and Leigh.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
